Fall 2011 Professional Development Lunches
For Women in Science and Engineering

CU-ADVANCE offers professional development events throughout the year to gain skills useful in a faculty career. CU-ADVANCE Networking Lunches are designed to increase opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary networking among women faculty in the physical sciences, life sciences, social sciences and engineering. Networking lunches are from 11:30-1:30, with speakers beginning at 12:00.

October 24 Findings from the 2010 Faculty Work Life Survey
Presenters:
Marin Clarkberg, Director, Institutional Research and Planning; Kim Weeden, Associate Professor, Sociology and Evaluation Director, CU-ADVANCE.
Dr. Clarkberg will provide an overview of the 2010 results from the FWLS with emphasis on gender; Dr. Weeden will highlight some findings linking ADVANCE to change in faculty satisfaction between 2005 and 2010.
